The National Trust village of Lacock dates back to the 13th century, while the pub itself was built in the 14th century, complete with a medieval fireplace and stone courtyard outside. We are ideally situated to explore Lacock Abbey and surrounding areas such as Stonehenge, Castle Combe and the Fox Talbot museum. The city of Bath is also only 30 minutes away.

Our accommodation in Lacock is room only, but we welcome you to head to our sister pub The Red Lion where you can purchase a hearty breakfast. The George Inn serves lunch, dinner and drinks everyday.
